This is our web site wedding album for those of you that could not make it to our wedding in Cozumel, Mexico....or to the Reception at our home last
summer.
We had the most wonderful time. We went diving almost everyday, yes.... Even the morning of our wedding day!
The wedding was at a peaceful place called Nachi Cocum, it was a beautiful day, and the ceremony was flawless.
For me, it was just as I had seen it in my dreams all of those years! My dress was just perfect, like it was made just for me, I felt like a princess in it. Mark
had gotten me some beautiful pearls to wear just for this day, and they were so pretty. My wedding planner Patricia, helped me put them on, and I was
ready to marry this wonderful guy! As I walked down towards the beach (praying I wouldn't trip on my gown), the violinist started playing, the sun started
setting, it was incredible, and I was nervous as heck! I made it down to the beach, and there was Mark smiling and so handsome in his wedding suit! We
said our vows, exchanged our rings, and got "fingerprinted"..............It was all legal now, Yiiipppeee......We are married Yeah!
After the ceremony....of which Mark planned ALL of it!.....We were off on our carriage ride through the streets of Cozumel. I felt like a Movie star or
something, all the little children were just staring at us...I am sure it was because we were so gorgeous looking and had nothing to do with the fact that we
had 2 bottles of Champagne between us! The carriage driver took us to the San Antonio Cathedral, it was the most beautiful church I had ever seen. As we
came out, there were two little girls that sat on the steps and got their picture taken with me....I felt like a princess all night. It was like a dream, it was so
perfect!
After our carriage ride through town, waving at all the people and having a wonderful time, we went to dinner at the coolest restaurant, "Pancho's
Backyard"...We had an outside table and it was so much fun...the whole evening was just magical.
After our dinner, we had to "go find" our car.....it was a scene out of a movie I tell you, here are 2 Americans, in full wedding "get up", walking the streets a
little inebriate,d looking for their car! We had so much fun and laughed as we came up to the car parked just a block form the restaurant....we had taken a
wrong turn somewhere and went the opposite way!
I am sure my family would agree, it took me long a long, long time to find the "perfect guy", and to have the "perfect wedding"
The weather was wonderful as you can see in the photos.
I had two red roses in my bouquet, one each for my Mom and Dad who passed away recently. I know they were watching down on us that day, and I am
sure they are very happy for both of us.
We will soon celebrate our first anniversary, and it has just flown by!
We had to eat our anniversary cake top before we left Spokane, because we couldn't bring it with us to Saipan! It was very good too!
We will drink a bottle of Champagne here to celebrate, so think of us on May 26th, and toast our first wedding anniversary with us!
