The home you see above is the one we had built for us in the Papago area. We moved into it in June of 2007, and we are still trying to get all our stuff
unpacked and pictures hung in just the right spot!
Some of you know we lost Dude in June as well, it was a difficult time and we miss him a lot. Especially when we are out diving, as he would always go with
us and follow our bubbles out until he was tired. He would then go to shore, and wait for us to surface, then swim out to greet us!
Rest in Peace little Buddy.

We managed to get moved into the new place. We got the keys Thursday night and brought over a couple of loads. On Friday our friend Dennis came over
and helped get the rest moved over and we spent our first night in the new place. We spent all day Saturday unpacking and setting up the house. We
worked hard because we were having a little get together for Judy's birthday on Sunday. We also had to go diving Sunday morning because of the new law
requiring all U.S. Citizens to be off island at least once a week. The get together for Judy went well. It was a Mexican theme and Tammy made enchiladas,
nachos, hot wings and margarita's. We all ate well and had a good time. Tammy started a scrap book for Judy and she really liked it.

Tammy's new kitty Piper is doing very well and getting into a lot of trouble. She was rescued from the road by a friend that is allergic, so we took it in. The vet
gave it a thumbs up on health, and she seems happy to be living indoors. Our good  friend Ans, from Spokane, was kind enough to send Piper a care
package, and she is enjoying her new toys. There is still a lot of unpacking to do and it is hot work. We have lots of time though and will get it done between
work, pool, paddling and diving. We'll get better pictures soon.

Here are some photos of our Kitty Piper. She is quite the trouble maker! She loves to get in the big pot whenever I have it on top of the stove.....Mark says
that it is not a very good idea to let her do this.....It looks like we are having cat for dinner!
We are enjoying our new home, especially the wonderful pool!
I am officially employed with DHL as of about 4:00 this afternoon. It is a wonderful opportunity, and a great career change for me.
Yipppeeee!!!!!.....  I gotta Job, I gotta Job :)
As you can see by the above photo, we have lots of little Anole lizards living among our plants....they are so cute!
When I worked for Northwest Seed and Pet in Spokane, WA......we sold these lizards for about $ 5.00 each!
We also have some beautiful Hibiscus growing on our patio in back......We sure love living in Paradise!

Sunday September 11, 2005
Hello there all. Mark and I got some very sad news today. We met a wonderful couple, Rosemary and Auggie in Mill Creek, Washington that adopted our
beloved Whippet "Buddy" before we left for Saipan. Rosemary e-mailed me this morning, to let me know that he was put to sleep yesterday due to
congestive heart failure. Our hearts go out to her and her husband.  Goodbye Nutter Butter :(

On a happier note, Mark's Mom is moved in to her new place on the South Hill. We were hoping that she could come live here with us, but due to her being
on Oxygen, it is not a very good idea. Congratulations on your new home Grace! We love and miss you very much.
No real other news to report at this time. I am learning a lot of new things about the shipping business with my new job, and trying to learn my way around all
the businesses. It has been very interesting, and the people that I work with are very helpful and nice.
Mark leaves in the morning for Guam for some training.
I gave him a shopping list of things I would like him to bring back.....things we cannot get here or that are too dang expensive.

Piper and Dude the Dog are doing great, Dude
has decided that since we take him to the beach
to swim once in awhile,  that any time the car
doors are open, it is an invitation for him to jump
in for a ride. A couple of times, Mark has had to
take him along when he wasn't planning on it, just
because he could not get Dude out of the car
once he was in it! He loves to go for rides and
loves to swim in the ocean!

We hope that all of you are doing well, remember
that we love you all very much and think of you
often :)
Until next time, Tam and Mark

September 26th
Well, as of last week, I am AGAIN unemployed.
The DHL position was just too much for this old girl to
handle. I need something a little less strenuous.
Other than that, we are doing super.
Mark left for Guam again this morning, I will miss him
terribly of course, but Piper will keep me company I am
sure.
She is doing really well, and goes in to the Vet. Oct. 11th
for her spay and declaw surgery.
We are still trying to dive every weekend, and anytime
in between that we can. We went on a night dive last
Saturday and it was pretty fun. I picked up a huge Conch shell. I love collecting the shells, but sometimes when there are dead animals in them, it is not too
fun trying to get them out. They can really stink!
We did a dive at Obyan on Sunday with Dennis, Judy and a new friend Steve Tilly. We saw a pair of Octopus mating. Mark got a few good pictures that will
be on the site soon.
I am trying to get on with the school system here or at least something comparable. I think the hours at a school, and the days off would be great,  plus the
opportunity to work with the kids here would be fun.
We are enjoying the pool very much, we have had it all to ourselves for so long we are spoiled rotten. We do have some new neighbors moving in upstairs. I
believe that they will be here tomorrow. More on that later.
I have received a few letters and some pictures from people, keep it up, I love hearing from all of you!
Until next time, Tammy and Mark

OK,OK so I am finally
getting around to
updating!

This is the front of our
new Island Bungalow
that we had built, and
moved into in June '07

We absolutely love
the place, the view is
wonderful, the pool is
refreshing and we are
just so happy that we
made the decision to
do this!

Here are a couple of shots of one of
Tammy's Orchids.
Our first baby
Pineapple. It is
about the size
of a baseball.
old Flame Tree.
No flowers this
year but we
hope by next
year it will bloom.
These are some

Not sure of the
type but they will
be ready soon.
a small home theatre surround sound
setup with us because of space. Well,
that got old fast and we enjoy movies
and music so a major upgrade was in
order. It's still a work in progress but
we now have almost all of the proper
gear to enjoy our home entertainment
system. We have a nice Samsung 52"
TV and some JBL Performance series
speakers. I built the cabinet and
though it turned out OK, it was my first
wood working project since 8th grade
and it shows. I have plans to redo it
and add some doors to hide some of
the stuff.

I also mounted the two front PT800's
on top of the subs to make it look like
towers. The system sounds wonderful
and now Tammy doesn't mind it
turned up louder because the sound
is so clean.
