THE

                        .........
It was either "Tobias and the Toby's"
or "Toby and the Turtles" They both
sound like band's from the 60's. The
two fish on top are both types of Toby's.
It was a nice morning and we managed
to find a few turtles. This one's name
is Pigpen. It is a little grungy and it
has a little Wrasse friend that has
hung out with it for a couple of years
now. We call him Wally. So here you
have Toby, Pigpen and Wally.
We went out a little deeper and
found a few more turtles. We also
saw lots of fish along the way.
Toby and Olga checking out a
Crown of Thorns Starfish hanging
out under the Pipe.
Flipping a few rocks to give the
Wrasse something to eat.
The Grotto is a great dive. Whoever said getting there is
half the fun has never carried scuba gear down the 120+
steps just to get to a spot where you have to get across
some rough water just to get in.

Once in, it's time to head out to the open water. It's always
nice to see a big Puffer hanging out in one of the openings.
On the outside wall there are some
nice swimthroughs that have cool
fans and interesting fish hanging
out in side.
After the Sea Fan tunnels we head
along the wall to the Bat Cave. We
go in through the a small dark
tunnel that takes us into the big
cave.

We swim out of the Bat Cave
through the big opening past lots
of fans and schools of fish on our
way back to the Grotto.
Back in the Grotto we spot a small
Shark hanging out and follow it for
a couple of minutes.
Time for a safety stop at the rope
before we head back.
Getting out can be a bit tricky and
there is only one rule, "Don't let go
of the rope"!
Back up the stairs and a great
morning of diving is wrapped up
and it's off to get some lunch with
friends.
