Atsuko's Birthday. We
had a drink or two at

The party continued on
Friday night with a party
at our house. The
weather was iffy but

On Saturday we headed
out to Laulau to do a
dive. We took Scott to the
water tank because he
had not been there.
There were lots of cool
critters.

at Wing beach. It was a
very nice dive that lasted
about 1 1/2 hours. If you

of shark shots as well as a
few of the Whip Goby
which seems to be
protecting eggs on another
Goby in a couple of pics.

John, Scott and I went to
the Grotto today. It was a
nice dive and Scott and I
found a big Ray at ledge
120. It was hard to get
pictures of but we still
had fun.

Tammy and I went to
Laulau today. We ran into
Mark, Olga, Dr. Harry and
John enjoying a dive as
well. I got a close up of a
Stone Fish eye and a shot
of a very cool looking
Trigger fish. The pic is
very bad but I put it up
for now because it was a
cool fish. I'll look for it
again next time.

Dennis had a Birthday this
week and that means we
needed to get together for
some T&T. We toasted #61
and then headed over to
the Naked Fish for some
Dinner. It was very good
and everyone had fun.
A Gecko jumped on Judy
and ran down her shirt.
I'm not sure she could
have gotten that thing off
any faster. She looked like
she was walking on hot
coals as she danced around
hooting and hollering.

May day and we started
with a dive and ended it at
a Banzai bash.
The dive at the Grotto was
nice. Tammy and I went
with Rachel and John.
John and I went out to the
Sea Fan Forest. It is a deep
dive so not a lot of time to
hang around but I
managed to get a few
pictures. I put some more
of them on the Grotto
page.
Banzai was good with lots
of food and good
conversation. It rained a
little and I got a cute
picture of Olga's Parents
here from Russia for a
visit.

I was on vacation this
week and got in a few dives
between chores. I found an
anemone with a couple
pairs of fish. The larger
pair had some eggs they

smaller pair was doing
their best to eat the baby's.

Scott surprised Atsuko with
a late birthday present. It
was her parents and we
snuck them onto the patio
while she was cooking and
when she turned to go out
was very shocked and
excited.

found a cool looking and
very large Box Fish that
we had never seen before.
We also found another
Anemone that had fish
with eggs.

Tammy got new fins for
our Anniversary and we
took them for a test
drive at Wing Beach. She
should be easy to spot in
a crowd now. The sun
was in a good spot to get
some sun burst shots of
Tammy along the wall.

Tammy was watering
some plants and Norman
started crying because he
was thirsty so she got as
close as she could with
the hose. I filled up the
bucket and he finished it
off in about 10 seconds.
The Tripp's came over a
little later and Mike and
the kids did a little playing
in the pool.

It's always a pleasure to
take members of our armed
forces diving and these
three stationed in Korea
were a lot of fun. They
managed 5 dives in 2 days
and seemed to enjoy them

The Pacific Winds had their
Spring concert at American
Memorial park and Tammy
and I went to enjoy the
music. They were excellent
and I took some time to
take some pictures as I
listened to the music. As
always Atsuko did a
wonderful solo that
everyone enjoyed.
It was a beautiful night with
lots of stars and Venus was
extra bright. The Flame
Trees are almost at their
peak so lots of orange
flowers all over the island.

I found this guy licking
water or nectar out of the
banana flowers on one of
our plants. He didn't like
me coming around. This
plant has over 150
banana's on it.

We went to Wing Beach
today and Tammy tried out
a new mask. If it works well
she will keep using it and if
it doesn't I'll give it a try.
Atsuko, John, Crystal, Mike
and Jacob joined us and it
was a very nice morning. It
was Crystals first dive in a
year and her first as a
mother.
I found a nice soft coral in
the big crack.

We took D'Argo to the
beach for the first time. We
got him after the computer
went down so some of the
early fun and drama was
missed. He is Tammy's new
Rottweiler and is about 3
months old in these
pictures and is doing very
well. He's having fun with
the other dogs and seems
to be fairly smart.
